Listening to Inner Guidance: Settling your Nervous System

One of the things people often discover once they begin regulating their nervous system is that their inner guidance becomes easier to hear.
Not because something mystical suddenly appears.
But because the noise quiets.
When the body is in constant fight-or-flight, the mind is busy scanning for danger. The inner voice — intuition, soul guidance, whatever language you use for it — gets drowned out by survival mode.
But when the system softens, even slightly, something shifts.
You begin to notice subtle signals again:
• a quiet knowing about what’s right for you
• a clearer sense of direction
• the feeling of your own inner wisdom returning
This is the beginning of inner listening.
Not because the world suddenly becomes calm, but because you become more anchored inside yourself.
And from that place, you can move through uncertainty with far more clarity.
A Simple Practice: Listening Beneath the Noise
Take one minute right now.
Drop your shoulders and soften your jaw.
Exhale slowly through your mouth.
Place one hand over your heart or sternum.
Ask inwardly, “What does my system need right now?”
Don’t force an answer.
Sometimes the response is simple:
Rest. Step outside. Turn off the news. Drink filtered water. Take one small step.
This is how inner listening begins — not with dramatic revelations, but with small moments of honest awareness.
And the more regulated your nervous system becomes, the easier it is to hear that guidance.
An Invitation
If the world has felt intense lately, you’re not alone.
Many people are sensing that the old ways of coping — numbing out, pushing through, constant distraction — aren’t really working anymore. What we need now is a deeper kind of grounding.
That’s why I created a free experience called:
Awakening Your Radiant Self
A 3-Day Nervous System Reset for Turbulent Times
Over three days, we’ll work with simple practices that help you:
• calm and regulate your nervous system
• reconnect with your inner steadiness
• strengthen your ability to hear your own guidance
• remember the deeper strength already within you
This isn’t about escaping the world.
It’s about becoming steady enough within yourself that the world doesn’t constantly knock you off center.
Because you deserve a life that feels safe enough that escape stops being the only option.
And you deserve a kind of peace that lasts longer than a moment.
If you feel the quiet pull toward reconnecting with yourself, I invite you to join us. Sign up details coming next week.
